Dr. Muhammad A. Bulbul (MD ’78), second from the left with members of the OR team in the photo above, is a professor at the Division of Urology, Department of Surgery, at the AUB Medical Center (AUBMC). In spring 2023, he led a strong collaborative effort to secure donations from his friends and patients to purchase the NanoKnife System (Irreversible Electroporation, which is used for the treatment of selected patients with localized prostate cancer, the most common type of cancer in men.
