A trustee since 2013, John E. Sununu is a former US Senator (2003-09) and Congressman (1997-2003) from New Hampshire. He currently serves on the Governing Council at Lloyds of London, and as a Director for Boston Scientific, Inc. As a member of the US Senate, he served on the Banking, Commerce, and Foreign Relations Committees. Prior to his service in Congress, Sununu worked as the Chief Financial Officer for Teletrol Systems Inc, a manufacturer of building automation. Sununu has received numerous awards including the Gibran Award for Distinguished Public Service from the Arab-American Institute, and is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. In 2008-09, he was appointed to the Congressional Oversight Panel that evaluated the performance of the Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP). He is a graduate of MIT (BS ’86, MS ’87) and Harvard School of Business (MBA ’91).
