A trustee since 2022 and an AUB graduate (BEN ’83), Fuad Tamer is currently a Senior Operating partner at Francisco Partners. He has pioneered business development across industries including semiconductors, networking, renewable energy, enterprise software, and artificial intelligence. Dr. Tamer is the former President and CEO of Inphi, which under his stewardship became the market leader for electro-optics solutions for cloud and telecom operators. Prior to Inphi, he served as CEO of Telegent Systems and co-founder and CEO of Agere Inc., a trailblazer in Network Processors. Dr. Tamer serves of the board of directors for Teradyne and Marvell Technology. He is a graduate of MIT (MS ’85, PhD ’88).
